  NENJAMAE is a Tamil gospel CD with Lyrics and tune composed by Sujatha Selwyn, Music set by J J Ruban and released by Music Mindss.  

NENJAMAE brings riveting Tamil gospel music in varied styles ranging from classical to Western.   With heart-filled ballads, Sujatha Selwyn, and other phenomenal vocalists pull out all stops in showing their versatility and strengths.

Sujatha Selwyn was born into a traditional and orthodox Iyengar Brahmin family. She was taught various shlokas and scriptures at a young age and never strayed too far from her roots until she came to know Christ. She learnt Carnatic music as a child and a teenager, which later on helped her sing gospel music in classical style. She came to know Christ at a very early age.

Sujatha Selwyn used to work for a large International Bank as a Manager in India and later, in 2002 she re-located to NZ along with her family, and began to pursue her interest in gospel music within the local music scene in a serious manner. She currently is employed with Deloitte NZ for the last many years.

Sujatha Selwyn has a wonderful God given duality as a lyricist as well as a vocalist which probably has its roots in her combined orthodox background and classical musical training. Sujatha Selwyn has made few minor attempts (Anadhi Snegam & Irai Isai) along the way, but it was her recent collaboration with Music Mindss that has got more prominence.
